I started earlier today (4:46pm) after a 1 hour sleep (not nap). But I note that from March I've been feeling exhausted a lot. Not sure if I should be concerned but unexplained exhaustion is a symptom of many things from stress to cancer.
It was raining earlier the day and the footpaths were wet here and there. I felt exhausted early on after 2km mark. Probably due to the faster than normal pace in 1st km and also the bright sunshine which probably eventually gave me a little bit of sunstroke. My left hamstring sort of cramped a bit at 10km mark on the Endomondo map. This is after 2 water stops. Not sure it's due to electrolytes deficiency.
Now I wonder what was my pace.
It was 12km based on Endomondo GPS. Endomondo recorded it as 1hr 23min (since the software stops recording if I don't move for 10secs). That would have meant an average running pace of under 7min per km. Maybe I can explain the exhaustion and cramp is due from the pace.
Based on my actual time on watch, it was 1hr 31min and 55 seconds. That would be an average pace of 7min 38 secs / km, which I am happy with since the past 2 runs of 2011 were >8min/km. And today, Endomondo recorded the distance at 12km. So my 10km Run350 should be ok. The May HM is another issue altogether.
