Tim from LSBC came with a neighbour and picked me up from Hougang MRT. We walked from Telok Ayer St to Marina Promenade Promontory,
Overall the run was good. Started at 7:30am. Flagged off on time with the ladies 10mins behind. Water point every 2km alternating betw Mountain miniral water and 100 Plus. Distance markers could be seen every 1km. THe routes had some up and down slopes but quite manageable. Not too crowded since 7,400 sign up incl women and Fun Run. Just a nice morning run in the city. End point collected medal after take photos. Took photos with Tim & friend at the stage and queue for 100Plus. Had 3 cups.
Together with Tim & neighbour, did a consistent pace of around 8min/km. Finished slightly longer because of a few stops for photos since Tim brought his Canon IXUS digital cam.
Finished in 1hr 22min 24secs for 10km (or 10.27km per Endomondo: Endomondo link). An average 8min 1 sec per km pace including stops. Quite good run in all.
